Useful information for you with your dog
We have tried to provide some information for our dog-owning guests at Chy ryb Connerton.
If you can not find what you need here then please do not hesitate to ask us.
Vets
We really hope you do not need to visit a vet with your dog.
In the unfortunate case should you need to see one, the 2 nearest vets are these, which are under 10 minutes by car.

Do you need help with something else?
Next to the annexe is a hose connected to the outside tap should you need to wash your dog down. Saying that, mud is not usually an issue around here with the sandy beaches. Please remember to shut the gate next to it to prevent your dog getting out.
If a doggy accident occurs in the annexe please let us know for assistance, as dealing with this immediately is the always the best thing to do. Unfortunately, any damage caused by your pet will have to be charged for.
Up to 2 dogs are welcome for £20 per stay (by arrangement). Please enquire about any further dogs.

You are welcome to stay with your dogs, but please enquire first. We do have some basic rules (click here to view), which we ourselves adhered to when we stayed at holiday homes, and we hope that you find them fair and acceptable.

Can we please remind you
You can of course have cuddles with your dog on the sofa and chairs, using the dog throws provided. Though sadly, out of respect for our other guests who do not have pets, we can not allow dogs in the bedrooms – stairgates are provided so that you can keep your bedroom doors open if required and your pet can see and hear you.
Dog beaches

The huge Gwithian Towans beach is under an 10 minute drive from us. This is dog-friendly all year round. At either end of this are 2 smaller sections which exclude dogs only in July and August from 10am- 6pm.
To find out which beaches in Cornwall are completely dog-friendly, or those with any restrictions, please check with Cornwall Council for full details by clicking the button below
